Hi! I work as a research assistant at the Baby & Child Research center, researching language development in young children in our Language Development research group from the Max Planck Institute. I’ll be mostly working with Jennifer Sander, focusing our work on language development in young signers of Dutch Sign Language (deaf and hearing), and it’s link to interaction strategies in signing child-parent dyads. I was raised bilingually in both spoken and signed Dutch, so I specifically will be helping with running the experiments for this study. But you’ll likely also encounter me helping with other experiments within our research group!
