Hello, my name is Isabel and I am in my second year of the Cognitive Neuroscience Master's. I am interested in the brain and in children's language development, wether they speak one ore multiple languages!
During my internship, I am helping out on a project where we research how babies react to 'babytalk'. Maybe you yourself have noticed that people tend to change the way they speak to babies, kids, or even pets. I want to figure out, together with researcher Jule Hafermann , if babies prefer listening to this way of speaking and how it is related to their language proficiency. I will partially be in charge of: booking appointments, attending said appointments, and processing data.
