My name is Lucas and I work as a research assistent at the BRC. In this position, I assist in setting up and conducting experiments, as well as with processing research data.
With great pleasure I am working on the Preschool Imaging Project (PIP). This research project investigates the developing brain and behavior of children on the autism spectrum, ADHD, and/or children with developmental delays. We aim to improve the diagnostics and support for these children.
To accomplish this, we use questionnaires and welcome parents with their children at the BRC where, among other things, we measure brain activity with EEG and makes images of the brain with an MRI scan. I'm mostly involved with the latter, so you might just run into me there if you participate in this project.
