Logisch, want jouw gezondheid hangt samen met de gezondheid van je kindje. Toch is dit soms moeilijk, doordat lichamelijke veranderingen tijdens de zwangerschap invloed kunnen hebben op eetgedrag \u00e9n op hoe je je voelt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stress doet (ongezond) eten?<\/strong><br>Bij niet-zwangeren weten we dat stress een reden kan zijn om ongezonder te eten. Werkt dit bij zwangeren net zo? Om dat te onderzoeken hebben we vrouwen in het derde trimester van hun zwangerschap uitgenodigd voor een onderzoek. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stress of niet<\/strong><br>Zonder dat de vrouwen het wisten, werden ze in twee groepen ingedeeld. De ene helft van de vrouwen werd blootgesteld aan stress: zij moesten eerst een presentatie geven aan een twee juryleden en daarna, voor diezelfde jury, een aantal hoofdrekensommen maken. Reken maar dat het zweet je dan uitbreekt. De andere helft van de vrouwen deed een opdracht die geen stress veroorzaakte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Snack o&#8217;Clock!<\/strong><br>Vervolgens was het tijd voor een welverdiende pauze en een snack. Er waren gezonde \u00e9n ongezonde snacks aanwezig. Na afloop hebben wij de voedselkeuze gemeten. Om hun eetgedrag niet te be\u00efnvloeden wisten de vrouwen dit niet!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Onverwachte resultaten<\/strong><br>Anders dan verwacht, aten de vrouwen in de stress-groep gezonder dan de vrouwen in de controlegroep. Zou stress een ander effect op zwangeren dan op niet-zwangeren hebben? Of verschilt het effect van stress op eetgedrag per trimester?
