Hier komen kinderen in aanraking met andere kinderen van verschillende leeftijden. Wat heeft dit voor gevolgen voor de sociale vaardigheden van een kind?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Met wie praat je?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Een belangrijk onderdeel van sociaal gedrag is communiceren. Stel je voor dat je met een kind van 2 jaar oud praat, of met een kind van 5: dan praat je op een andere manier, bijvoorbeeld door andere woorden of een minder ingewikkelde zinsconstructie te kiezen. Voor een goede communicatie is het namelijk belangrijk dat je je aanpast aan de vaardigheden en kennis van je gesprekspartner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Communicatie aanpassen<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Wij hebben kinderen van 5 jaar oud een interactief computerspel laten spelen waarbij we hebben gekeken hoe zij met hun fictieve medespeler van 2 of van 5 jaar oud communiceerden. Kinderen die meer tijd hadden doorgebracht in de kinderopvang konden hun communicatie makkelijker aanpassen aan de leeftijd van hun medespeler!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kinderopvang en sociale ontwikkeling<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Het hebben van broertjes of zusjes speelde opvallend genoeg geen rol voor hun communicatievaardigheden. Dit laat zien dat kinderopvang wezenlijk anders is dan de situatie thuis \u00e9n dat deze kan bijdragen aan de sociale ontwikkeling van het jonge kind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Read more?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Stolk, A., Hunnius, S., Bekkering, H., &amp; Toni, I.
