Specifically, I\u2019m interested in early learning that helps children develop later social and cognitive skills such as empathy and (moral) decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ik heb mijn promotieonderzoek aan de Donders Instituut gedaan waar ik besluitvorming en empathie bij volwassenen bestudeerde. In mijn werk heb ik onderzoek gedaan naar &nbsp;\u2018maladaptieve besluitvorming\u2019: wat er gebeurt als het leerproces mislukt en het moeilijker wordt om je aan te passen aan veranderingen. Tegenwoordig, als postdoctoraal onderzoeker bij de BRC, onderzoek ik hoe baby\u2019s leren in de wereld en specifiek in situaties met onvoorspelbare situaties. Met dit onderzoek willen we ontdekken hoe vroege leerervaringen invloed hebben op het leerproces en de besluitvorming.
