Ik ben nieuwsgierig naar hoe kinderen hun moedertaal leren. Hoe leren kinderen de klanken van hun moedertaal? Hoe leren ze woorden herkennen en uitspreken?<br><br>Jonge kinderen kunnen vaak nog niet alle woorden goed uitspreken. Zo kan het zijn dat kinderen \u2018<em>seit<\/em>\u2019 zeggen als ze naar een geit wijzen. Waarom zeggen sommige kinderen \u2018<em>seit<\/em>\u2019 en niet \u2018<em>geit<\/em>\u2019? Komt dit omdat ze het woord nog niet goed kunnen uitspreken of hebben ze het woord \u2018<em>geit\u2019<\/em> anders waargenomen\/opgeslagen toen ze het leerden? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">These are the questions I am working on in the research project PerPLex. In this project, we study the link between speech production and perception in toddlers.
